Técnicas para pintar, teñir y tunear camisetas:¡¡A renovar nuestro vestuario!!

En esta ENTRADA tienes muchas ideas para pintar camisetas,pero,además, he encontrado esta otra técnica que me parece ¡¡genial!! en este BLOG,y voy a haceros una traducción muy libre para que aprendáis la técnica.

Aquí tenéis los materiales  que necesitáis. / Here’s what you’ll need :

• Una camiseta blanca o de un color clarito que ya haya sido lavada previamente, de algodón. /Pre-washed white or light colored t-shirt (cotton takes color great)
• Alcohol de quemar , que tenga un porcentaje de alcohol alto. / Rubbing Alcohol (Note: mine was 91%. If your alcohol has a lower percentage it may not work as well)
• Un cuentagotas. – Lo puedes buscar de algún medicamento.-/Liquid dropper (we used an old medecine dropper)
• Una taza o un vaso de plástico. / Small plastic cup(s)… really we only needed one
• Gomas elásticas. / Rubber bands
• Rotuladores permanentes de colores variados. – Mejor elegir colores animados, nada de negro o marrón.-/Variety of colored Sharpies (we stuck to color wheel colors, no brown or black).
• Otros posibles adornos: telas, tejidos o adhesivos que se traspasan con el calor, plancha,…/ Extra Embellishment: (fabric, scissors, iron on paper, and an iron) – we made a sparkley peace sign to put in the center of the shirt.

Los pasos a seguir / The steps we followed:

1. Elige un punto para iniciar el dibujo en la camiseta, y coloca un vaso por debajo de la tela estirándola bien y asegúralo con  un elástico alrededor del mismo a la altura del bordecillo de plástico del vaso./  Choose a spot to start su and put your cup in right side up and secure a rubber band around the cup rim holding the shirt tightly in place.
2. Escoge los colores que vayas a usar y haz un pequeño dibujo en el centro de la tela que has extendido sobre el vaso. Haz los dibujos más o menos del tamaño de una moneda porque el alcohol hará que se extienda el color. (Recuerda que los colores complementarios se tornan marrones cuando se mezclan, por ejemplo el azul y el naranja)/ Pick your colors and create a small design in the center of the stretched circle. We kept our designs to the size of a quarter or half dollar because the alcohol will make the colors spread out a lot.(P.S. remember that complimentary colors will turn brown when they mix,ex. using blue and orange together)Using your dropper drip approximately 10 drops of rubbing alcohol in the center of your design and watch the colors spread.
3. Hay que añadir lo siguiente; pon un par de puntos y líneas de color en los filos del círculo que se forma y echa el alcohol con el cuentagotas, antes de quitar la goma, entonces sopla en ese área para acelerar el secado, y dejar que se mezclen los colores formando una mancha  circular, aunque algo irregular. One thing we added: we put a couple more dots and lines of color on the outer edges of the circle and added alcohol drops to them just before removing our rubber band…. then we blew on the area to speed the drying and make the colors mix and bleed together in an irregular circle design.
4. Puede ser una buena idea cubrir la parte de atrás de la camiseta con un trozo de plástico para evitar que traspase el color hacia la parte trasera de la camiseta./ Note: I had a piece of plexiglass that we put inside the shirt while working to prevent color bleeding through to the back side (cardboard would work too).
